I’m not much of an editorial blogger, nor do I believe myself to be ‘artistic’ in nature when it comes to blogging, but this being said, I do like to mess around and see what I can get my hands into.

There is so much to be said about Catherine Fairport’s poses and inspired props from BENT. that she puts out that I can’t help but want to try to work harder on those artistic pieces, to push myself to see what I can do.

Also, it allows for random – mistakes to happen and to actually make silhouettes in Second Life without the use of Photoshop. In all honesty, it was just a fluke. I wanted to use a dark windlight setting to allow bright focal points from the balls on the pose prop to splash across my body. What came out after turning ‘bright’ on within the pose prop and any one of the darkest windlight settings in Firestorm (I used Alchemy Immortalis), what I got was this:

Of course this isn’t the raw shot – I did clean up the hard edges, got rid of those pesky lines and signed it. But that’s all. I thought it was pretty cool. Simple to do actually. I’m not much of a tutorial writer, but if you would like to know how it’s done, just IM me in world. A couple steps and BAM! inverted.

Of course I did another one of the same pose, this was the one I was aiming for. I hope you enjoy it. Oh, and that cute bra? It’s new from a store called [HASTE] from Harvest Denzo. I do love cute bras.
